WHEN "ONDOY" STRIKED...
September 26, 2009. This is the memorable date to all Filipino's especially to those who were affected by the typhoon that caused massive flood's all over Metro Manila, none the less where our office is located, in San Mateo Rizal.
Even when "ONDOY" (name of the storm) striked San Mateo Rizal with heavy rain and massive flood's, even when the water levels were about to breach our perimiter walls, the offices of GTGF Food Corp. were blessed that it was not affected by the flood.
During the storm, most of the employees that were affected sought shelter inside the untouched offices of GTGF, and also brought their families along with them. People from nearby villages also sought shelter at GTGF seeing that it was safe from the storm.
REACHING OUT...
After the storm had hit, the employees of GTGF Food Corp went straight to work to help out their fellow employees and people that were hit by Ondoy. All the employees packed the goods they received from donors as well as the goods GTGF donated.
